The ONLY FM Approved Electronic Leak Detection Test / ASTM D8231

Integriscan: Superior electronic leak detection testing for vertical & horizontal waterproofing & roofing membranes – Including BLACK EPDM.

The IntegriScan is a portable low voltage Electronic Leak Detection (ELD) quality control test that pinpoints breaches in roofing or waterproofing assemblies. This method complies with ASTM Guide D7877, is the basis for ASTM Practice D8231 and is the ONLY FM Approved ELD testing equipment.

Gas Vapor Barrier Testing / ASTM E1745

It is important to perform QA/QC measures to ensure successful installations in any proper gas vapor barrier system installation.

Smoke testing is the most often used testing for below-slab membranes to test their integrity. The machine forces non-toxic smoke-filled air (fog) underneath the entire membrane. The smoke travels under the membrane and will visually identify any imperfections – basically highlighting non-compliant areas that cannot be spotted with the human eye.

ASTM D4541 Standard Test Method for AVB Pull-Off Adhesion Strength of Coatings

ASTM D4541 is a standard test method that is used in order to evaluate the pull-off strength of air barrier membranes. This is a useful test when used to evaluate air barrier installations and set minimum standards to verify product performance and field installations under real conditions.
